UN Conference

Representing the Republic of Chad Year 12 Kew High Students Lukas Matovinovic, Ferris Hansen and Finn Byrne debated and proposed amendments on the resolution of asylum seekers.  Held at OLMC, KHS participated in a huge event with over 20 other teams from local schools.

Our team successfully had their amendments adopted and added new amendments.  Which involved much debating, speeches and negotiating. Deeper understanding from a world perspective was gained on the plight of asylum seekers and the constraints on countries in aiding them.

It was a fun day with future international diplomats.
