Student Leadership Experience

The School for Student Leadership is a Victorian Department of Education and Training (DET) initiative offering a unique residential education experience for year nine students.

Students experience a variety of challenges and team learning that draws upon personal development as young leaders. There are three campuses in Victoria, The Alpine School at Dinner Plain, Snowy River Campus at Marlo and Gnurad-Gundidj near Camperdown.

Each year Kew High School is fortunate to be offered places in the program.  Students apply through a rigorous submission process.  This year 8 of the successful applicants are attending the leadership program at the Gnurad Gundidj campus.

Reports back from the team are amazing learning experiences and self discovery.   The duration of the program is seven weeks during term one and culminates with a presentation at the end of March.

We look forward to our students returning as mature young leaders.
