(Coordinated by the Kew High School Chaplaincy Service)
The Kew High School Second-hand uniform and book shop provides an opportunity for families to buy quality second-hand uniform items and books for a fraction of the cost of new. It also provides an opportunity for families to sell uniforms and books they no longer require, via consignment.
Each year the service returns thousands of dollars to school families who sell books and uniforms. A commission from each sale supports the Kew High School Chaplaincy.
The most up-to-date information regarding shop opening times is communicated through the Compass parent portal.
Please send clean uniforms. Only submit uniforms on the current uniform selling list.
Please use this form to sell your second-hand books.
The shop is located on school campus in classroom M4.
Tuesday lunchtimes: 1.20 pm to 2.10 pm
Two Monday evenings per term: 5.30 pm to 7.00 pm
Please check the Compass newsfeed for further details about opening dates and times.
Many students make their own purchases. Parents are welcome, as are parents of prospective students. EFTPOS is available for purchases. All visitors to the shop must first sign in at the general office.
The shop is coordinated and staffed by volunteers – school parents, senior students and past parents. The shop is overseen by the Kew High School Chaplaincy Committee.
Leave a message with your contact details at the school office. We need helpers on Tuesday lunchtimes throughout the year. Extra helpers are needed all weekdays at the end of the year. All volunteers over the age of 18 are required to have a current Working with Children Check.
